WELCOME We are looking forward to another great year for the Yellow Jackets Band. We would like to make sure all new band parents feel welcome. You have just become part of an elite group called Band Boosters! The Band Boosters are an important part of our band program. Without the assistance of our highly motivated, involved parents we would not have the success we do. Volunteers are the heart of our band program. We need the assistance of every parent whether it is volunteering to help with the concession stands at the football games or chaperoning we need your help. Please be sure to consider donating some of your time and talents as we work to keep our costs  down, making the program affordable for all students who wish to participate. Some important things to remember are: Booster Meetings are always held on the second Tuesday of each month @ 6:30 pm in the band room. Band practice is usually Mondays 5:30 - 8:30 and Thursdays 2:30 - 4:30 unless otherwise notified You can check out an updated calendar, your students account info and other important info on the CHARMS web site. Many Fundraisers are held over the school year. Some are designed to benefit the Band in general. Others are for the individual student. The money earned during these fundraisers goes into the students band account. These account balances can be viewed on the CHARMS web site. These funds can be used to pay band fees. Remember also we will be going on another fun trip in a couple of years so start now building up that account!  The First Monday Night of each month is Beef's Night at the Bartow Beef O' Bradys. Place your receipt in the special box by the door and Beef's will donate 20% of all the receipts collected. We will need volunteers for concession stand at all home Varsity and JV football games. Due to the Jessica Lunsford Act every person wanting to volunteer for anything to do with our students must fill out a Volunteer Application.
